Why Weight?

I have always been fairly anti Fad Diet though I've done enough of them. When I was in High school my Mom would come up with a new one of these every once in a while and she would get me to try it with her. I never liked doing them. I never had any results and I disliked how completely unrealistic they were for someones lifestyle.

I've known quite a few people that have seen great results from doing Weight Watchers and I did actually consider doing this but though they tend to have great results there is a point where most stop counting their points and gain weight back. This is why I have known that in order to get myself to a healthy weight that I can realistically stay at I would need to do something that will be a lifestyle change for me. I've done that. I am now eating realistically in a way that is sustainable. I'm not denying myself food that my family loves because that wouldn't be something I could possibly continue for a long stretch of time. Especially if I'm the one cooking it. lol I've been getting more exercise as well. I've been pulling the kids around in a wagon to school every day. I tell you, getting 70 + lbs of kid up the hill and back twice a day has been a decent work out. In all I spend about an hour each day hauling them around.

I've been saying that I haven't seen results yet (It's been over a month) but I do think I have have lost a pound or two. This is how I know that it's a sustainable option for me. It's just VERY SLOW! I have talked to a few people who have said that once you stop taking these things to loose weight you'll just gain it all back. That's true, but that's true of anything. Once you stop your extreme diet, you'll gain it back. Once you stop counting points, you'll gain it back. Once you start eating at McDonalds again, you'll gain it all back. This is how I realized I had come to a good decision. I have started to slowly loose weight so giving myself a kick start will just be a way of getting to a healthy place much faster and then I have already made the changes that will make this sustainable.

So For about a month now I've been mulling and comparing Isagenix and ViSalus to see what one I believe would be the right fit for me and give me the best results. I have talked to a few people that have tried Isagenix. They have fantastic things to say about the product, I have also talked to people that take ViSalus and they also say Fantastic things about their product. After much consideration and deliberation I picked ViSalus or Body by Vi and I am really excited to get my 90 Day challenge started! The thing that won me over with ViSalus was that there was no cleanse day and that was the biggest complaint I heard about Isagenix. Also the focus on health ViSalus takes is inspiring. It's not just a weight loss shake, it's a health shake. My husband is actually very interested in trying it to help him gain lean muscle mass. That's what it does too! So I'm going to take my measurement, I already know what I weigh, and you can watch me for my results!

Wish me luck!
